Chair D. Barrett called the meeting to order at 11:40
D. Barrett summarizes communication between the committee and DHCD touching on the DOJ /ADA certification process and VA’s uniformed building code. Discussion ensues including next steps for the committee, which included:

• Review of DHCD’s new code revisions
• Following up with DHCD (Emory Rodgers) to identify/ clarify next steps for facilitating a DOJ/ADA certification application , public notice
• Invite Emory Rodgers to next meeting
• D. Barrett will provide a formal written request for DHCD
• RK will follow up with Kelley Gonzalez regarding participation in the ask the experts conference to promote awareness to VA stakeholders regarding the process
• M. DuBois will follow up with local Building Code Officials Builders Association regarding process for connecting with state group
• S. Prokop will provide VA winery association ADA resources
• Look at the logic model
