Meeting was called to order by Dixon, substituting as Chair at 9:10 a.m.

The meeting agenda and April minutes were reviewed

Dixon made a motion to approve the April 2009 Goal I Committee minutes as presented.
Prokop seconded the motion
Approved unanimously by voice vote.
Motion passed.

Upon recommendation from the Focus Group subcommittee at the May 12 Goal I Committee meeting, Janet Hill was contracted to conduct Community Forums in Planning Districts 13, 14 and half of Planning District 9.. This activity meets part of Goal I objectives of the current State Plan for Independent Living to assess and address needs in unserved areas of the State. A report will be submitted with summary of responses by September 2009. Report will also go to the Stambaugh Foundation, as Fundation dollars will be used for this particular Goal and will be used as part of the development of the 2011 thru 2013 State Plan for Independent Living.
