Committee Members Present: Timothy Edwards, Chair; Marcia DuBois, Vice Chair; Lewis Atkins, Secretary; Jeff Pittman, Treasurer

Other Members Present: Lisa Grubb, Executive Director; Stacey McKenna, Executive Assistant; Theresa Preda, DRS Ex-Officio; Jane Ward Solomon, DBVI Ex-Officio, David Barrett

The Committee convened at 8:12 a.m.

The committee resumed discussion of staff contract modifications. The Executive Committee reviewed the staff Contract Modification Request which was distributed to the members. Staff requested an increase of $13,460.90. The Committee discussed whether a Request for Proposal (RFP) would need to be issued or whether the contract could be modified.

Lewis Atkins made a motion to suggest to the Council that the SILC reissue the RFP. Motion was seconded by Jeff Pittman. Motion passed unanimously. Committee agreed to present this to the Council.

Marcia DuBois volunteered to closely examine the Council’s expenditures over the past few years in order to get an understanding of the spending patterns of the SILC.

Lewis Atkins moved to adjourn the meeting. Jeff Pittman seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.

The meeting adjourned at 9:00 a.m.
